  [S26] SCISSORTAILS STILL RETURN TO SCHOENAU, pp. 17, 19. States that 1870 census of Austin Co., Texas lists the Eckermann family and gives Clara's age as 1. Clara and Theo did not have any children. The couple lived in the Mill Creek Bottom on the northeastern edge of Schoenau, Texas.
