      Catherine Figard, 83, of Lytle, Tex., died Nov. 24, 1988, at the Lytle Nursing Home, in Lytle, Tex. She was born Oct. 21, 1905, in Transylvania, Romania, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Walsher) Nemeth. She was united in marriage to Frank G. Costal Sr. and J. Elmer Batzel, both of whom preceded her in death. She was later married to Anthony Figard, who survives at Hopewell. The following children survive: Frank G. Costal Jr., Pittsburgh; Joseph Costal, Mans Choice; Mrs. Henry (Jean) Timrne, San Antonio, Texas and Mrs. Lome (Joan) Williams, Phoenix, Ariz. She is survived by the following sisters: Mary Wheale, New Castle; Elizabeth Shevetz, Lowellville, Ohio and Tillie Schuster, McKeesport. Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death. She was employed as a candy maker in the Jane Louise Candy Factory, in Lancaster for 19 years and retired in 1968, from the Dodge Cork Company.
