      William H. Gribble
      William H. Gribble of Saxton died on Friday afternoon October 12, 1962, at 2:30 o'clock at the J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital. He had been in ill health for several years.
      Born on November 19, 1883, in Tatesville, he was the son of Charles and Mary (Fluke) Gribble. He married Jennie Figard on May 17, 1903, in Saxton.
      Mrs. Gribble and these five children are surviving: Mrs. Genevieve Hiquet of Saxton; Clarence A. Gribble, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Catherine Rutter of Huntingdon; Mrs. Ruth Hotnisky, Saxton; Mrs. June Fessler, Saxton. Three sons and one daughter preceded him in death. There are 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mr. Gribble was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
      The deceased had been a member of the Church of God at Saxton for the past fifty years. He retired in 1949 from his position with the Penelec generating station in Saxton.
      The funeral service will be at 2:30 o'clock on Sunday, October 14, at the Masood funeral chapel in Saxton. The Rev. Paul Kocher will officiate and interment will be made in the Fockler Cemetery at Saxton. Friends are being received at the funeral chapel until the hour of the service on Sunday.
