Ida was born in Industry, Texas on September 11, 1912, the daughter of the late Charles Stoelke and Emma (Schroeder) Stoelke. She married Lanard Luetge, Sr. on November 29, 1934 at the Industry United Methodist Church in Industry, Texas. Ida was baptized on October 15, 1951 at Industry United Methodist Church by Rev. Louis Hardt. She was an honorary member of the Industry United Methodist Church Bertha Circle (UMW).
