Lillie loved horses. She also had an autograph book of her mother's in which poetry was written in beautiful handwriting by members of the family and friends. Some are written in German, and some in English. She also owns the GEMISCHTEN CHOR BOOK and other old song books which were printed by her Grandfather Emil Trenckmann. From a transcription of a newspapper clipping, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wagner of Burton observed their golden wedding anniversary with a celebration at the American Legion Hall at Round Top on Saturday, Oct. 8, 1966.
