Hilton Otto attended Schoenau School. He was a musician, a farmer, and a baseball enthusiast. He played on many baseball teams, and in several bands. Hilton and Ada lived in Schoenau until they moved to Houston in their later years. When the family moved to Houston all the children went along, but later some of them returned to live in Schoenau. Nearly all of Hilton and Ada's children were musical, as were many of the grandchildren. The band named "Fathers and Sons" contained several of Hilton Luetges descendants. They were Lester, Otis, Lester's sons, Rocky and Rodney, and Otis' son, Branch. And many of his descendants enjoyed baseball as well.
