      Wallace Alex Weniger died on Nov. 13, 1998 in Beeville, Texas at the age of 72. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1998 at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. Dick Bremer assisted by Doyle Childress overseeing the services. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery in Seguin at 2:30 p.m. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Beeville Volunteer Fire Department. He is preceded by his parents Alex Joe Weniger and Annie Hageman. He is survived by his wife Lucille Weniger of Beeville; daughter Roxanne Blankenship of Beeville; sons Dennis Weniger of Bloomington, Calif., Gerald Weniger of Lake McQueeney, Texas, and Kevin Weniger of Kodiak, Alaska; brother Frank Weniger of Seguin, sister Dorothy Wosnig of Marion, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Arrangements by Galloway & Sons in Beeville.

      Today we give thanks to God for the life and faith of Wally Weniger.
      Wallace Alex Weniger was born August 23, 1926, in San Antonio, Texas, to Alexander J. "Alex" and Annie Hegemann Weniger. He was married to Lucille Voigt on November 14, 1948, in New Braunfels, Texas. Wally was preceded in death by his parents.
      Wally worked for the Civil Service at Chase Field for 21 years. He was a member of the Seguin Volunteer Fire Department from 1946 to 1955 and a member of the Beeville Volunteer Fire Department from 1955. Wally was active in many Fire Training Schools and with many State Associations. Wally and Lucille owned and operated the Circle Bee Sewing Center.
      Wally died on Friday, November 13, 1998, at the age of 72. He is survived by: his wife Lucille; a daughter, Roxanne Blankenship; three sons, Kevin and his wife Mary, Gerald and his wife Sandra, and Dennis; a brother, Frank Weniger; a sister, Dorothy Wosnig; seven grandchildren, Cari, Stephen, and Kelly Weniger, Thomas Cox, Brenna and Katie Weniger, and Darren Blankenship; one great grandchild, and by friends, neighbors, members of the various associations to which he belonged and members of the Beeville Volunteer Fire Department.
      Following the Funeral Service, you are invited to the Fellowship Hall for a light lunch and a time to be with the family. The Committal Service will take place at the Cemetery in Seguin at 2:30 p.m.
