Aggie Lyssy
February 4, 1930 - October 20, 2018
Aggie Pawlik Lyssy, 88 of San Antonio, Texas departed to be with our Lord on Saturday,
October 20, 2018. Aggie was born on February 4, 1930 to Stanley and Justina Pawlik of
George West, Texas. She was the oldest of six children. She was preceded in death by
her husband Henry A. Lyssy, daughter Mary Ann, her parents, and siblings – George
Pawlik, Mitchell Pawlik and Grace McCann. Aggie is survived by her children Marcus, wife
Helen; Floyd, wife Terry; Myrtle, husband Greg Herbst, Thelma, George, Lawrence, wife
Cynthia; Susan, husband David Willingham; Bridget, husband Scott Hart; Karen, husband
Scott McInvale; 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; one sister Gladys Stearns and
one brother Leonard Pawlik. Aggie was a mother who enjoyed and loved spending time
with family and friends, traveling with Henry to many fun and distant places, dedicating
time to her church. She also enjoyed playing Bunco and Farkle. Aggie had a strong faith in
God that she passed on to her children and grandchildren. She was an active member of
St. Benedict Catholic Church and held many positions in the St. Benedict Altar Society
over her lifetime. She was also a member of the VFW Women’s auxiliary for many years.

Home, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm by St. Benedict
Altar Society. On Wednesday, October 24, 2018 the Holy Rosary will be recited at St.
Jerome Catholic Church in Martinez, Texas at 9:30 am with Mass to follow. Interment to
