      Calvin John Figard of Six Mile Run, R.D., died at 2 A.M., Friday, April 4, 1958, at the J.C.Blair Memorial Hospital. He had been a patient at the hospital since March 29. Mr. Figard had been ill for the past three and one-half years.
      He was born November 7. 1885, at Six Mile Run, R.D., a son of James and Emma ( Clark) Figard. He married Myrtle Elizabeth Wright on November 25, 1906.
      The deceased is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Bertha E, Moore, Indiana County; Carl James Figard, Sid,am; Mrs. Edna May Fox, Daytona Beach, FL; Anthony E. Figard, Six Mile Run; William Figard, Six Mile Run;and He was a member of the Round Knob Church of God, A retired miner, he formerly worked for the Foreman Coal Company. He was a member of Local 602, District 2, UMW.
      Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 7, at 2:30 P.M. from the Round Knob Church of God. The Rev. C.N. Greider, pastor of the church, will officiate. Interment will be made in the Sherman Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the Masood funeral chapel after 7 P.M. Saturday until 10 A.M. on Monday and then after 11 A.M. at the church until the hour for the service.
      He died on 4 Apr 1958 in Huntingdon Co., PA. He was born 7 Nov 1885 (1886) in Six Mile Run, PA. Calvin John Figard of Six Mile Run, R.D., died at 2 AM, Friday, April 24, 1958, at the J.C. There are 56 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. There are two sisters: Mrs. Gilbert Thomas of Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. William Caulderhead of Audubon, N.J.
      He was a member of the Round Knob Church of God. A retired miner, he formerly worked for the Foreman Coal Company. He was a member of Local 602, District 2, UMW.
