Milton A. Warwas, 71, of Yorktown, died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2000. He was born Dec. 5, 1928, in Yorktown, to the late Frank and Frieda Huck Warwas Sr. He was a farmer and rancher and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. He served as a U.S. Army Reserve and was discharged as a Pvt. 1st Class with an OCC medal. Survivors: wife, Helen Berckenhoff Warwas; sons, Bernard Warwas of Nordheim, Walter Wayne Warwas of Kenedy and William Warwas of Berclair; sister, Ida Mae Boldt of Pawelekville; and two grandchildren. Preceded in death by: parents; brothers, Frank Warwas Jr. and John Abner Warwas. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. tonight at Lamprecht-Janssen Funeral Home chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, the Rev. Frank Lenz officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Catholic Church Cemetery.
