      IMMIGRATION: The ARCHIMED departed Hamburg, Germany for Hull and Liverpool on 19 Apr 1855. The passengers where from Oppeln and were all farmers. The immigrants boarded the ISAAC WRIGHT in Liverpool and arrived at the port of New York on 29 May 1955. The manifest included Albert, Josepha, and Johanna Knieski.

      RESIDENCES: On p.52, Albert is listed as one of the original seventy that formed the second beginning of the present parish in Panna Maria, TX. He donated $100 for the new church. On p.132, For the church's approaching silver jubilee, "...Adelbert Kniejski, who formerly donated $800 for the church, added $200 more that in the Book of Records might be written in golden letters the round full sum of $1000. Mr. Kniejski, ever since the foundation of the parish was most zealous in preservation of the beauty of the house of God."
