He was born In Belgium on May 1, 1897. a son of Alexander and Alice (Oghie) Hiquet. He was united In marriage to Genevieve Mae Gribble on June 24, 1925 at Cumberland. Md. In addition to his widow, he is survived by four sons: Paul R. Hiquet, Syracuse, NY; Joseph L. Hiquet, North Versailles; Herman A. Hiquet, Terra Haute, Ind. and Dennis L. Hiquet, Harrisburg. Seven grandchildren also survive, along wilh two brothers: Ralph Hiquet. Saxton. R.D.. and Rene Hiquet, Dudley. One brother preceded him in death. The deceased worked for Penelec at Saxton for 39 years, retiring in 1962.
