He was survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Myrtle Boenig Huebinger; three daughters, one son, Six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Erno was born January 1, 1923 in Marion, Texas to Frieda "Voigt" and Ernest A. Huebinger. He was baptized on August 5, 1923 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in New Braunfels and later confirmed there on April 28, 1935. On September 12, 1945, he married Myrtle Boenig at Friedens United Church of Christ. He joined Friedens in 1946 and Emanuel's Lutheran in 1962. He served as an usher at Emanuel's Lutheran for 30+ years and served on the Monday Morning Financial Committee for 20+ years. He was a charter member and volunteer at the Silver Center. He was an avid gardener and loved to fish when he could and travel. He worked in the lumber business for about 60 years and owned and operated E.J.
