Methodist Episcopal Church, Stonerstown, Liberty Township, Bedford Co., Pennsylvania
Notes:
The Methodist work in Saxton developed out of a union Sunday School in the 1856 Lutheran building in Stonerstown (the community at the western edge of Saxton). In 1858 the Methodists acquired that structure at a sheriff's sale and worshiped there until constructing their present building in 1881. See https://www.lycoming.edu/umarch/open_churches/bedford.htm
