      Emmy Galle Berger; Birth: May 29, 1872, New Braunfels, Guadalupe [sic] County, Texas, USA; Death: Aug. 30, 1955, Needville, Fort Bend County, Texas, USA.
      The following obituary was published in the Texas Coaster on September 8, 1955:
      "Funeral Services for Mrs. Berger Held September 1"
      Funeral services for Mrs. Emmy Berger, 83, were held September 1, 1955, at the Evangelical and Reformed Church, Needville. The Rev. William E. Scholze officiated at the church and at Cottonwood cemetery where Mrs. Berger was buried.
      Pallbearers were Clarence Fenske, Albert Lee Ognoskie, Leonard Penkert, Aster Vallet, William Vallet and Alvin Rech.
      Mrs. Berger is survived by her husband, Albert Berger, a son, Albert Fenske, Needville; two daughters, Mrs. Fred W. Schawe and Mrs. Theo Klosterhoff, both of Rosenberg, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
      Mrs. Berger also is survived by two brothers, Edward Galle and Adolph Galle, both from San Antonio, and 3 sisters, Mrs. Lena Penaloza, San Antonio, Mrs. Ella Sahn and Mrs. Amelia Rusch of Cibolo.
